Happy 57th Merdeka Day...Di sini lahirnya sebuah cinta
>> Saturday, August 30, 2014
It is me again, just in time to write a post to commemorate Merdeka Day celebration tommorrow.
Sorry I have been MIA again . 2014 is a tragic year for Malaysia when we lost 2 passenger planes of our national air carrier Malaysia Airline system (MAS), MH370 and MH17. MH370 was lost from radar and believed to be crashed in the ocean and has yet to be located. Meanwhile MH17 was allegedly shot down killing all passengers on board in Ukraine by Pro-Russian Separatists.
The song Warisan by Allahyaraham Sudirman that being played often these days in conjunction of Merdeka Day has always touched my heart. Sometimes I get goose bump and feel sad whenever I hear the song. It is a beautiful and powerful song. For me the song is Malaysia's most patriotic songs of all time. I feel sad because it was sung by Sudirman Hj Arshad who has died many years ago. I grew up listening to his songs. He was a patrotic person with his popular patriotic songs, Warisan and Tanggal 31. His other songs like Chow Kit Road, Balik Kampung, Punch Card , Aku Penggangur are related to Malaysia, its people and their lives. He had always dressed in patriotic shirt with red and blue stripes whenever he sung his patriotic songs.
I post a picture of past prime ministers of Malaysia starting from Almarhum Tengku Abdul Rahman, Almarhum Tun Abdul Razak, Almarhum Tun Hussin Onn, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammed, Tun Abdullah Badawi and our current prime minister Datuk Najib Abdul Razak. It is proven that RAHMAN theory is true in mysterious way.. For me it has helped me to memorise the name of our prime misnisters. Sorry Anwar you are not on the list. Move over Tony Buzan, this theory has existed since 1970s. I pray for peace and posperity for Malaysia and for many years to come. Amin

Warisan.
Disini lahirnya sebuah cinta
Yang murni abadi sejati
Disini tersemai cita cita
Bercambah menjadi warisan
Andai ku terbuang tak diterima
Andai aku disingkirkan
Kemana harusku bawakan
Kemana harusku semaikan cinta ini
Betapa
Dibumi ini ku melangkah
Keutara selatan timur dan barat
Ku jejaki
Aku
Bukanlah seorang perwira
Gagah menjunjung senjata
Namun hati rela berjuang
Walau dengan cara sendiri
Demi cinta ini
Disini lahirnya sebuah cinta
Yang murni abadi sejati
Disini tersemai cita cita
Bercambah menjadi warisan
Andai ku terbuang tak diterima
Andai aku disingkirkan
Kemana harusku bawakan
Kemana harusku semaikan cinta ini
Betapa
Dibumi ini ku melangkah
Keutara selatan timur dan barat
Ku jejaki
Aku
Bukanlah seorang perwira
Gagah menjunjung senjata
Namun hati rela berjuang
Walau dengan cara sendiri
Demi cinta ini
Ku ingin kotakan seribu janji
Sepanjang kedewasaan ini
Ku ingin sampaikan pesanan
Aku lah penyambung warisan
